The idea

Small creatures.
Not-so-small affection.

Deskling begins with a familiar feeling: it is nice to have a little company while the day goes by.

The intended experience is about adopting and caring for expressive companions — feeding them, playing, helping them rest and learning their personalities. Their lives are intended to continue while you are away, making a return feel like a small reunion.

The character direction centres on five creature families, with male and female variants. The group in the approved artwork gives that little world its face.

A few rhythms we’re building towards

Care.

The everyday rituals of looking after a little friend.

Play.

Small moments together, with room for personality.

Rest.

A softer pace when a creature needs a break.

Return.

The pleasure of discovering what happened while you were away.
